Hello, I’m Kate!
Welcome to Tippy + Doodles! The name “Tippy + Doodles” is a nod to my beloved family dogs growing up. Both were rescue dogs that loved to play with toys and allowed us to dress them up in doll clothes. They were the sweetest! In addition, to our dogs, we also had hamsters, many fish, a ferret (Sam), a couple of finch birds (Romeo & Juliet) and a cockatiel (Olive).
Pictured is my sweet “Ciao,” affectionately called Ciao-Ciao, Tippy Toes, or Ciao-y to name a few. She was a rescue dog that loved to show off her tricks, play fetch, tap her paw when she needed something, and never passed up a pond, lake, or ocean to dive in. Sadly, Ciao crossed the rainbow bridge in 2018. My 13 year old sidekick will always have my heart.
About me. I grew up in the Midwest and made my way to Austin, TX in 2004. I have a passion for travel, real estate and nature. My professional career over the past 18 years has included marketing, pharmaceutical sales, and real estate. I love walking into properties and finding their true potential! Traveling has been a huge part of my life. Nothing brings me greater joy than immersing myself in new cultures, meeting people along the way and trading stories.
Traveling is fun . . . however, boarding your fur baby for an extended amount of time is not. When Ciao became ill, and I had commitments looming, I knew a kennel would not be great fit. I knew she would do better in the comfort of her own home. That’s how TIPPY + DOODLES came to be! Allow us to be your dog walker and in-home pet care service.
